 IABC Belgium triumphs at charity quiz
The IABC team (left to right): Hugh Barton-Smith (VP Online Editor), George Candon (Secretary), Colin Mackay (Member) and Sam Rowe (President). Thinking of themselves as just an Informal Assembly of Brussels Comrades, they were surprised as anyone to discover that their cultural, current affairs and even musical knowledge was the broadest out of 68 teams from the public affairs, communication and institutional communities in the capital of Europe. The quiz, held under the Patronage of European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, raised over €22,000 for UNICEF and the BBC Children in Need Appeal.
