University Seeks Partners for Web Design Project
Posted on 2007-09-06

Boston University in Brussels is looking for organizations, small or large, who are willing to work with a group of students on a class project to produce a website.

As part of a course entitled "Introduction to e-Commerce and Website Design", the students will design and build a website to address a business situation. The projects must be realistic as possible, so the students will work with real companies and organizations on actual business issues.

Participating organizations will benefit from an outside look at a current business issue. The students will provide a prototype website or first draft solution, which can then be picked up at an advanced stage with a professional developer. (The student-produced websites will not be of commercial quality.)

The projects will start in late September and will conclude by early December. Participating organizations will attend several meetings to help the students understand the business issues involved, and to give feedback as they develop the solution. Potential partners should be prepared to devote the time needed to produce useful results.
