As Slovenia prepares to assume the EU Presidency, Rok Klancnik of the Slovinian Tourist Office will talk about the country's new brand strategy, values, and symbols and how the country is preparing to rise to the challenge of leading the EU in 2008. Previously, he served as Director of Communications for the United Nations-affiliated World Tourism Organization and was Communications Director for the Slovenian Tourist Board in Ljubljana. A frequent traveler, Rok speaks several languages and gives lectures on topics ranging from strategic communications and branding to tourism and the Argentine tango.
